A newspaper report says that people were rushing in to Suresh Gopi (the Super Star) to buy lottery tickets from him.




















If SureshGopi sells Lottery tickets, I'll go jobless.

Naale...naale... naale...  I think you don't get this loud announcements these days. Am I right ?

Not exactly.. Lottery is a very smart business for our Government. Now, the tickets of the current Kerala Government Lottery  (Onam bumper prize !) is priced at 100/-.

My neighborhood lotterywaala says, that these tickets are in great demand.  Why not, you may get TWO CRORES ...  if not atleast a Maruti car !!

I'm on to buying one ticket from him. I'll shell out 100/-... I am sure to win 2 crores ...!  And I've to plan { dream for ! ) spending these crores..

Lucky 'Aal maram'

Chingam 1. Malayalam New Year day, Chingam 1, was on 17th August, Sunday. 

All temples were crowded on this day morning. I have today, a few pictures of my neighboring temple. It's not the crowd that I wish to show you, but the big "Aal maram" (Banyan tree) . The temple is built around the tree. The idols are just at the base on the roots of the tree.

And see a lottery ticket vendor in front of the temple. Devotees, after darshan and with the blessings of DEVI, buys a ticket. May Luck favour them !
