Oh, what's this ? Why are you making my "Ambili maaman" a graveyard ? Please don't put the ashes on his face ! Don't trouble him !!
Yesterday's news : Celestic Inc, an American company, in association with a private rocket flight company, is planning to take the cremated human remains to moon. Certainly at sky-high charges.
No, I can't agree to this (if atall someone asks me for permission !).
But dear Celestic friends, other than displaying and demonstrating your nutty character, what useful thing will you achieve from this ? May be you will earn a lot of money ! But let me ask you .. We have so much of nuclear waste in this globe. Why don't you take all that to space ( NOT to moon !) and throw them beyond the moon? Those countries or UN will pay you reasonably, I am sure. Please put your efforts for good of the society, and the Moon, Not for funny and mad claims.

Advertisements are amusing
On advertisements, again !
Advertisements are attractive, informative, entertaining, and certainly useful. But some of them are amusing too.
So is the case with some of the consumer products too - they sound reasons to hate and avoid.
When a soft drink is called “Appy”, how would malayalis relish it ?
When a skin cream is named “malam”, how would keralites respond ?
I don’t think these are proper names for any product. What do you say ?
One of the recent TV ads (for a soap) shows a girl cheating her brother ( husband ? ) ! So, it must be.

Temptations
Dear Roshni,
Yes ! You are concerned over this news, as I am. We all are concerned and worried.
A few years back, an independent responsible Organisation in India (I don’t remember the name ) made studies on all soft drinks - Coca Cola / Coke, Fanta, Thumpsup, Mirinda, ... and including bottled water. Media gave a high priority for this. You know what were the surprising findings ?
These soft drinks contain heavy metals like Lead, Arsenic, and a few more, which are dangerous.
They are so acidic in your stomach - it can dissolve calcium as big as your teeth, in minutes ! This is highly dangerous as your bones get so weak, and also slows down your metabolism.
They contain pesticides in very large proportions ! So dangerous that it damages your kidney, and liver.
It contains formaldehydes, those that can spoil your brain cells, which in turn affects your memory !
Above all, all these additives are carcenogenous (cancer causing).
Do you want more ??
Many of us, knowing all these dangers, do drink. I agree with you that its a serious concern for all of us. What's the solution ? Ther’s only one solution.
DO NOT DRINK this kind of soft drinks. Totally avoid all these "synthetic drinks ".
Then what to drink ? Probably, the only liquid you can drink safe now is "Thenga vellam". Not even "Kanji vellam" - because rice, as you get it today, is sprayed with DDT ( may be lighter in doses, however). Milk, from our dairies, too are unsafe. The water you get from our KWA sources is highly contaminated and contains very dangerous levels of other impurities. In fact, what you get through your water pipe lines is not water, but (dilute) hydrochloric acid !!
As someone said, the question is how do you want your death ; hanging, drowning, or electric shock ?
About APPY, your lovely drink ! APPY too is bottled poison. It too contains dangerous preservatives. { But may not be as high as Coke or such drinks. That’s what I think }.
I am sure you are not addicted to APPY. Have it once in a while; taper it off and stop for ever ! What else can we "poor human beings “ do ?
